Tariq Hussain Tunyo is a CSS Officer, currently serving as Deputy Commissioner in Inland Revenue Service at the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), having extensive experience of administering Income Tax, Sales Tax and Federal Excise laws of Pakistan.
He has done MBA in Tax Management from IBA,Karachi, and has written a book "Taxation in Pakistan". He has also participated in international conferences on tax issues, including OECD Conference on 'Taxation of Financial Instruments' held in 2011 in Thailand.
Tariq H. Tunyo has been teaching Taxation to CA students for more than half a decade, and is known for making tax law not only simple and easy to understand but also interesting, creating life-long fascination for the subject in his students, besides producing outstanding results. His background as practicing tax professional with immense class room experience produces an ideal mix for his students. Sir Tariq teaches at Al-Muizz Academy of Accountancy, Karachi.
